Checking on the thing, while the other thing is thinking.
I think it's time I made more espresso.
I'm running a query that is taking a long time.
I'm reminded that "a watched pot never boils"
But what happens if I boil water for tea while I am waiting for the query to finish?

Hey! Thursday morning! Why are you having a thunderstorm at 07:30 when it is 34 degrees outside.
This morning already:
Someone turned on a DR server without checking that email was disabled. Mailbomb ensues.
Something caught fire and knocked out my power for the 10 minutes I needed to be online.
The SSO vendor the local schools use (wife is teacher) is having some kind of outage.
Something else caught fire near where the first fire was, and now I'm just sitting here waiting for the inevitable. I still don't have everything up from the first outage.
I need more espresso.
I wanted a snack. Somehow I ended up with a double-shot of espresso and a frozen uncrustable.
AC/DC makes annoying work more tolerable.
