Honestly, what is it with all these social networks that do NOT offer an edit function? Is it violating some law of physics or something?

@eliangonzalez There is also the case where someone posts something to attract hostile feedback and then changes the message to something else to make the people who replied look like they are attacking the new statement, not the original one.

@butch @carmen Interesting. I hadn't even thought about those scenarios. Talk about naïve, I suppose.
Of course, that brings up the obvious: how come those others don't use the same approach? (Likely not in their business model.)
