@butch It would make my skin crawl to listen to a playlist curated by an insincere and profit-driven advertising engine loyal to a corporation.
If I wanted that, I'd listen to the radio!
Of course, I don't listen to music all the time like most people do nowadays, so it takes me 5 minutes to curate what I listen to.
People with increased musical needs may not have time for all that. ; )
@AskTheDevil I hear ya. I think it's more I have a decreased musical need and am just looking for some background noise working from home.
Knowing how tech manipulates (and I don't want to talk about ny role in that) I can usually ignore, but that stream was deeply lonely.
@butch I keep thinking of that time Facebook exposed some of their users to depressing content to see if it made them depressed (it did).
