Just finished writing performance reviews for my whole team and helping each of them with their career development plans. Helping people grow and align their careers to their passions is the best part of managing people.

@robfwtx I have Italian honey bees. High honey producers but not very tolerant of temps and disease. A great bee for anyone wanting to start.

@robfwtx some honey bees, if a hive is at full strength and not weakened by mites or disease, will swarm around a murder hornet in a ball and rapidly vibrate to raise their core temp and "fry" the hornet. This is the same way they heat the hive in winter, but used in self-defence. A few will die but the hive will be saved.

Bees can be very friendly and will get to know their beekeeper. #beekeeping

Cooler temps make these ladies upset when I open up to do hive inspections. Did you know a hive will maintain a steady temp of 94-95° regardless of outside temp! #beekeeping

@Susandoyle I'm not allowed to keep them on my property either (stupid HOA). A very kind friend lets me keep my hives on their land about 30 mins away.
