Hey @th3j35t3r, how much of a pain would a notification for certain CoSo account posts be? Some of the people on here get reliable info out faster than most news outlets🤟🏼

@Drato17 It's possible now with a workaround.

@beard, for example, would need to tag all his breaking news toots with say #BeardyNews then...

If you're using the website version:

- click the hashtag, it will open a new column on the right, then hit the icon top right of that column and 'PIN' the column.

If you're using a 3rd party app, look for a way to get notify on hashtag, or similar column pin technique.

@th3j35t3r @beard Had no idea you could pin hashtags, thats brilliant -- I will convey this to other "newsy" feeds that pop up when I see them... this does open up some great ways to make feeds regarding certain topics or catogories... If this catches on I'd recommend throwing up a toot about it for new users 👍

Local #CoSo timeline, or the Federated timeline? Can it be defined/controlled?
