@bfgreen I feel like this was more sensationalist than investigative. It feels about like one of those "who killed Kennedy" or "Who was Jack the Ripper" shots in the dark, than anything else.

I've always assumed that the name Satoshi was made-up, whole cloth, and represented a group of people who wanted to remain anonymous. I feel it unlikely this is the brain-child of one single person, just due to the complexities of creating and promoting it in the timespan it happened.
