@Susandoyle totally get it, I'm same only with with pottery. Most of mine I've made throughout my lifetime, the rest is collected and have specific memories.

@bfgreen i have my colored glass in another window sill, again each has meaning. My other secret keepsakes are coffee cups that are really memories

@bfgreen try looking at "It's a Wrap" it's two locations here in Los Angeles. They have clothing, jewelry, glass items, furniture, just about everything, that has been used in movies or television shows. They have codes on the items so get the code list it tells you from what movie (or TV show) who, if clothing, wore it and often what scene. We have a few places like that here but this is a good starting point.
