So Wonderful Spouse, non-techie getting older, is constantly coached on spam and fraud. Rally does well. BUT today he did a Google search for Amazon Prime (for easy find) and clicked on the first Amazon Prime link in the search results. The computer froze, started screaming alerts, call us now, do not restart. He was so shocked and worried. 1/2
@TheresaVermont #protip - you can turn off the Google results options that "shows best match" vs the real match. Also, stop using Google and switch to DuckDuckGo or Brave search
@bfgreen I'll look for that setting. Getting him off Google is probably not possible. I have DuckDuckGo installed already, but retraining the aging brain is not easy.
