Went to a production of the classic Romeo and Juliet last evening at CalShakes. Perfect weather. Staging was beautifully done. Actors were superb as always at CalShakes. This production was in Spanish/English and re-titled Romeo y Juliet. By the end of the evening, I felt like I understood Spanish! The interleaving of the two languages was amazing. Then, when Romeo and Juliet were both women and made me believe Will S would have loved it. Brava!
