I am still numb about the R v W draft. I won’t tell you how old I am, but I remember when women used coat hangers to terminate a pregnancy they could not afford. These were not strangers, but people I knew. Desperate women and we all rejoiced together when the R v W decision was announced. I thought: at last I am my own person, in control of my life. I weep for all the young women today. This will pass and I will be ready to fight again soon.
