Here’s my next project, it’s going to be one of those wrap skirt things. I’ve made one before- just not from patchwork. I’m just a little bit obsessed with patchwork right now.
I’ve wanted to get this tattooed on my body for years but all I have is this single photo saved on my phone and my mush brain canNOT remember what to search for this image … look familiar to anyone???

In my defense:
1) this song came on the “classic rock” station shortly beforehand (wtf) and
2) my new machine has a setting for embroidering letters and of course I had to try it out.
If only Kurt was alive to see what has become of the musical movement that he arguably started. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I’m definitely having a manic episode it seems… today I finished a 16x24 canvas paint by numbers (making up my own colors for the numbers) and I’m ready for another. It’s like adult coloring books but with acrylic paint on canvas. I’m hooked!
Which is great because when I get like this I cannot sleep.

Machine was unfixable, BUT (!) my spouse surprised me with a new one. And I nerded out so hard over it because it’s just amazing!!!
Now, I’m trying out quilting “pinwheels” and even though they’re crooked & off - I’ve never been so proud of something so ugly 😂🙌
FFS universe, why do you let me cut out hundreds of the 4”🔺 for a full pinwheel quilt, only to make my trusty old sewing machine decide this is the day to completely DIE?
Do you know how long it took to cut these mf out? It’s absurd.
Do you know how much concentration it took this mush brain to see a project like this out?
Even though #quilting is something that folks would probably be surprised to learn that I actually do, I absolutely love it and haven’t done it since my #TBI.
