#CoSo #beer (and #baseball) question of the day - #food and drink. Having just attended the #Seattle #Mariners' food and drink preview, we ponder the value add of including something other than cheap beer and popcorn.
So, our question to you is, does it make the experience better? Or do you see the sport/game as unchanged despite better food and drink?
@beer Undoubtedly better. The garlic fries at the football stadium are awesome! We also enjoy the food offerings at the Storm/Kraken arena, but I haven’t been to T-Mobile park.
@Synical, we attended this year’s media preview at T-Mobile Park (home of the Seattle Mariners) and were impressed with most of the featured food options.
Unfortunately, the Sounders and Seahawks' media relations are less inviting to the press. So ,we can only wonder from afar whether the garlic fries are as good. Or if John Howie's food is as good in the C'link as it is abroad.
Granted, if we have the budget of a Seattle or New York Times, we'd probably attend a few games a year there.
@Synical RE: 'Hawks. Yeah.
As scribes, we appreciate any organization or business that takes the time to pitch rather than expect we follow their presences.
That's what's great about the Mariners. They are proactive about getting journalists on board. The rest of local and regional sports seemed inclined to limit access or restrict it wholesale to online 'blog' posts..
Glad you have positive memories from your experience with the Seahawks.
