One of my hobbies / side jobs is to write Persian using the nastaliq style of calligraphy. This is my latest work that I created for a client. They intend to tattoo this as a band on their leg. It's from a Rumi poem and it translates to: "Whatever may come from the universe is a guest in your heart; cherish it."

I don't know how many of you are into extreme heavy metal (e.g. death metal et al), but I have been listening to The Fathomless Mastery by Bloodbath for the past couple days. The production is top quality. I highly recommend it for those of you out there that like this style of music. This particular album I would consider a blend of death metal with a sprinkle of melodic death. The drummer is one of my inspirations for my own style of drumming. #music #deathmetal
