Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said he will enforce a state law that bans gay people from having sex in their own homes when the Supreme Court reconsiders its 2003 Lawrence v. Texas decision that originally struck down that law.

@barefoottiki Just going to point out that the Texas law banned sodomy in general. The specific facts of the case were that the cops got involved after the boyfriend of one of the men called and reported there was a man with a gun in the apartment &bdiscovered the men having sex. If Lawrence is overturned, Texas laws criminalizing sodomy go back into effect. /ex-lawyer pedant. And I can't believe people want to go back to this crazy!

@barefoottiki Holy shit! It really was only a matter of time before government invaded citizens bedrooms. This is so beyond f'ed up! But Texans keep voting these motherfuckers into office.
