"The Sign of Four" - I love Holmes sarcastic responses to police inspector Athelney Jones (who is totally oblivious to the sarcasm). Example:
Athelney Jones: "... What do you think of this, Holmes? Sholto was, on his own confession, with his brother last night. The brother died in a fit, on which Sholto walked off with the treasure. How’s that?”
Sherlock Holmes: “On which the dead man very considerately got up and locked the door on the inside.”

I liked the first one (The Loves of Count Iorga, Vampire (Count Yorga, Vampire), 1970) - but not overly fond of it.
The second (The Return of Count Yorga (Yorga Returns), 1971) seems like standard $$$-grab... Watchable, but...

Though I do think that most fans of the 1984 series are unaware of the 1954 series - and it's (to me) quite similar theme music...
