I'm grateful the neighbor's "tree service" survived their shenanigans -- it wasn't pretty -- but since they didn't know what the heck they were doing I've got trees to fix up, stumps and debris to remove (trees _on_ the property line).
The moral is hire ISA-certified arborists if you can.

Hey authors and readers:

Embroidered Worlds presents a living snapshot of imaginative fiction in Ukrainian culture today, including stories that span and cross the speculative genres of science fiction, fantasy, horror, weird fiction, magic realism, and alternate history. The majority of stories included in the anthology will be from writers in Ukraine, and for most of them it will be the first time their work will be translated into English.

Your "pumpkin" spice is probably butternut squash or other, non-disgusting-tasting squash.

Welp. The storm dropped a lot of water, which is appreciated. But also shook off a lot more pecans. They're not developed enough to ever eat.
Not a great year here for stone fruits or nuts. 🤷

Franklin's starting to look respectable. Let's hope the tracking holds and these three storms head on/stay out to sea.

Still want _some_ rain though.

As a former coastal denizen I don't usually look forward to hurricanes but pecans are dropping early because the trees are stressed and c'mon Idalia and Franklin let's gooooo

Heeeeey cool. I want every GUI'd application to have a built in scripting capacity and Python is perfectly acceptable for it imho.

Microsoft is bringing popular programming language Python to Excel. A public preview of the feature is available today, allowing Excel users to manipulate and analyze data from Python.

Are you a fan of Imagining Dragons? I know I imagine them all the time, eating the faces of my adversaries.
Oh one sec, I'm getting an update...not real dragons? A band? Okay well that's cool too.

During the Imagine Dragons concert in Warsaw, Sashko from Novohryhorivka, Mykolaiv Oblast unfolded the Ukrainian flag with the UNITED24 logo. This flag, signed by the band, will be raffled off among all those who make a charitable donation.
