Would Trump intentionally cause inflation to skyrocket, thus making the dollar lose value faster, thereby making crypto investments more valuable?

Yes.
Whatever makes him more wealthy, with investments in gold and crypto for currency rather than the dollar.

Inflation which devalues the USD is likely with his tariffs.

Does it do any good to warn anyone of such a diabolical plot to destroy the US economy? Probably not.

Even the mighty Federal Reserve, and worldwide stock exchanges, would not be able to stop Trump, Musk, Putin, and other billionaires from devaluing the US Dollar by intentionally causing inflation to skyrocket by extreme conversion to crypto followed by massive tariffs.

It would cause another Wall Street crash, and the USD to go the route of the German Reichsmark, but they don't care because they would be sitting pretty by getting in early with the new digital currency.

@Priestess Are any world currencies relatively more secure against that scenario? I'm not going to buy rubles...

@b4cks4w
No.
All world currencies are subject to devaluation. The dollar, yen, euro, are all subject to devaluation.
All could become as worthless as fruits on the vine with no workers to pick them.

Either invest in a mixed stock portfolio (highest returns)

buy gold, silver, or real estate,

or buy capital such as durable goods with long shelf life which can be sold, traded, or exchanged regardless of whatever currency is current,

or get trade skills/education that will always be needed.
