Standing desks inexplicably don't have easy ways to mount a small router. pffft. Turns out the magnets from a hard drive work perfectly. Low profile, strong enough to hold it on and easy to dismount as needed.
@Zevon I can't get a decent picture; the magnet is slimmer than the rubber feet on the router so it's not even making contact with the router; there's ~ 1 mm gap. Strong little buggers
