I had one box that looked like it was an updated fan box, based on. The bracing size.
So I figured I would swap that one out today, and the handyman would come install fan boxes on all the others Monday.
Is this a fan-rated box?
No.
So since the brace doesn’t fit, they just screwed in one side and crossed their fingers that one screw was strong enough to hold.screwed in .

So I guess I’ll just leave dangly (capped) wires all weekend.
Today must be national annoy beanc day.
Instructions: Connect the “L” in the fixture to the “L” wire in the junction box (usually white).
Connect the “N” in the fixture to the “N” wire in the junction box (usually black).
So….. which one of these unmarked wires is the usually white L wire?
