Any salesperson who has sold any product with a manual knows this happened decades ago, possibly even centuries. Nobody RTFM, unless they already know what they're doing.
@northernbassist I gave a tutorial on customizing Garmin watch activity settings to my parkrun friends last Saturday. They were amazed at what their watches could do. I spent hours reading the manual when I got my watch. They said I should do a series of YouTube videos. I replied that they should read the manual.
