I appreciate the effectiveness of the "weird" angle, but it still rankles. I have been identified as weird from a very early age, I have done my best to reclaim the word and wear it with pride. Having it applied to those assholes, however accurately, feels like an insult to me personally.

I'll probably live. I do appreciate the good weird/bad weird distinction I've seen here. I'd like to think I'm in the good column. I'm definitely not nearly on their level in the bad.

@00pi I hear ya. I'd rather their _behavior_ was always the target but anyway the mitigating, perhaps, factors are that these are people who are always trying to normalize their views, however extreme, and that I want to use every arrow in the quiver at this point.
