We are taking a "siesta" through the heat of the day today. Yesterday we worked non-stop through 90°F feels like 105°F. These experiences are cumulative, so we are being wise & taking a break before we unload the trailer & stack this load of 52 bales. We tried to get started earlier, but I got into a hornets nest (under the pallet) & got bit right thru my glove on one of my left knuckles. All swollen now. 😒
We've counted 192 bales brought in! Yay! There might be 50+ more out there.#haying
