Another naive question: how do the physics of a small mass HE FPV drone vs a massive armored tank work? Is it the proximity of the HE explosion setting off munitions in the tank? Is there a particular anti-tank munition?

@b4cks4w It's probably a tandem HEAT warhead, which using a top attack against the thinnest armor on the vehicle, has a good chance of achieving penetration and setting off the ammo. Soviet armor has no wet ammo storage or blow out panels and much of the ammo is stored in the auto loader cassete under the turret basket.
