break time... i typed 300 names so i could easily find the in a search.. saved the file in acrobat then compressed it to save file size.. the program consolidated duplicate fonts it says.. and completely obliterated the text i wrote..
@Museek Ugh, Adobe software. Is PDFA (archival) an option? Is Don't Use Adobe an option? Even MS Word can make pdf files and might make less of a hash.
(secretly I am not a fan of Adobe)

lol well.. i wanted to type directly on documents I'd saved so thats why its a pdf
its frustrating! the point of me typing was so i could search the text.. and look at it.. ugh
