@ceorl Which would be a little awkward since their LLM was leaked and has spawned a zillion open source models and folks are saying the Bigs have lost the generative AI race altogether.

I always think of corporate name changes as the act of a CEO in desperation.
It is one of the few things they can really dictate, so they do ;)
Well as the article suggested, it is all about appearing to lead rather than actually leading.
They know that the majority of people still believe in big brands for some reason :)
His interest in VR was actually disasterous to the VR platform I use, drawing in lots of users with wrong expectations.
Actually it was a bit like some of our CoSo challenges, when a massive influx of new folks becomes toxic to the existing culture.
