I would like to write a program that allows me to color in bead graphs that are custom. I am not sure what to call it.

I have used python to create colored shapes before but I want the grids to be changeable (like colormaps) and I want them to be specific to my bead graphs.

Anyone have an idea what I am trying to do? I need to go read how to do it and just make it happen :-D

It would save me tons of time.
