Has anyone ever shipped all their books by FedEx Freight Shipping?

It occurs to me that it might be a lot cheaper than putting them on the moving van.

I'm trying to do an end run of leaving the best part behind.

Anyone tried this????

@QueenOfEverything Amtrak ships pallets for a flat fee. Or they did one upon a time. I shipped a lot of tools and bulky furniture coast to coast

@b4cks4w

good idea! the "tough nickel" used this for an example:

"The first 100 pounds of your shipment cost a flat rate of $67. Additional weight costs $0.57 per pound.

If you've got 300 pounds to ship, your shipment will cost around $181. If you've got 400, it will cost about $238 and so on."

Perfect for BOOKS- you can ship 500lbs per day!

OMG- I CAN'T WAIT TO TELL THE BOOKS THEY GET TO LEAVE TEXAS & GO TO WASHINGTON STATE!
