Hey CoSo tech....anyone out there use VMWare on Linux? I've used VMware for 10 yes in Windows, now using it o n a System 76 laptop running PopOS. Only annoying thing is that any OS update that modifies the kernel means you need to recompile some of VMwares libraries. I know that Linux is DIY, but this is crazy. Also thinking about trying out Gnome Boxes to see if it runs Windows on Lius more efficiently.
PS Loving the longer posts here.

@hfinyow :elbowbumper: System76 Pop!_OS FTW.

I use (rarely) virtualbox, haven't noticed that issue so...not gonna be helpful here. Boosted it to maybe catch some more eyes. Also S76 support is pretty great, give 'em a shout?

@b4cks4w thanks for the boost. I may reach out. I'm goin to do some more research before installing either Boxes or Virtual Box. Read one stack overflow post whee buddy had VMware player on Ubuntu 18, loaded Gnome Boxes, which buggered his VMware. Had to Uninstall both and reinstall Gnome Boxes and requisite libs. Not sure I want to risk breaking what I already have working.

@hfinyow I totally get that. Huge fan of sticking with what works.
