Couple thoughts* about this Pueyo article:
Mostly agree with a HUGE emphasis on 3 WEEKS from now, contingent on continued fade of variant strength, AND attention paid to how ^%@#* broken the healthcare and social safety net systems are worldwide. Because these corona viruses ain't done with us. So yeah, no back to normal.
*I am not an epidemiologist so what do I know.

@b4cks4w i am beginning to think that there are wealthy individuals that really do believe they can "thin the herd" with covid, and somehow use it to their advantage. i'm also pretty sure these people aren't really that bright & haven't thought things through to logical conclusion...
@redenigma I get that vibe too, though I don't think Pueyo is one of them.
I thought his previous articles were prescient/well informed. I don't know if he's overly optimistic now, and I know I'm baseline a pessimist re:covid.
This article just doesn't resonate the way Hammer and Dance did.
