@DPotatoesOBrien They are here too briefly, and take a piece of our hearts when they go. But they leave some of theirs with us, and that is the best part of our hearts for ever after.
Feeling for your loss. Yes, it leaves a hole. Maybe it will let in some more love one day down the road.

So good to meet people who know how to turn a phrase!
@ChristopherNoyesRoberts Doing French Onion soup on the stove tonight or tomorrow. But daughter found a 'Greek style turkey breast' recipe in the Mediterranean Slow Cooker cook book she got. We made it for our Christmas dinner. It was fantastic!
@Fiikus_goddess Unless, of course, Elon gets on making 'tech upgrades' on the thing! π
Virginia proposed a sweeping anti trans law.
It would ban gender affirming care under 21 years old, forcibly medically detransitioning them.
It would force all government agents to notify parents in writing if kids exhibit "gender nonconformity"
Here is the section that would force government agents to notify parents in writing for "gender nonconformity"

So I'm thinking about becoming a CoSo pro. But question: In a year is someone going to say, "Seriously? You handed over your credit card information to a famous hacker?" How is CoSo incorporated -- or legally accountable at all -- if Jester is anonymous? #Help
@mfa @TheNewsOwl I keep dithering on whether to pitch mine or not. Kinda liked the little devil.
@Fiikus_goddess Kind of what I was thinking too.
That's still in the low range of most decent wheelchairs...

@see_the_sus And how many hoops a mobility limited person has to jump thru to get them to cover it!
@amgoth2000 Saw this on another site. SOOOOO cool! Have a great niece with MS and this might make her young life a lot better. She can walk, but not much before having to use her chair. This would be SUCH a help.
Cool new help for people with mobility problems.

@FactsDynamo Look on the bright side: Metal detectors are gone, so maybe dueling will make a comeback. If the trafficker from FL nearly got physically attacked last night, well, I am investing in popcorn when the Armed Services Chair has to share some power with the guy.
Guess that's crystal clear Kev, POTUS says Hell to the NO! π π½ββοΈ

@thewebrecluse Love those who keep it real. I never asked for much at all in life, but have always known I deserve honesty. It's a rare and beautiful treasure. So good to meet a practitioner.
@thewebrecluse And young enough to still have a lot of faith in other people. Don't confuse my 'wait and see' attitude with cynicism, I actually do think things will be OK. 'I love mankind, it's people who give me pause' is my approach these days.
Good to 'meet' you here. Looking forward to reading more from you!
@CriticalCupcake I'll take the van. Hate to travel, love being in new places. A van that keeps me off planes would let me learn stuff live and in person in so many places I would love to explore. I'll just read the books old school. ;)
Old widow woman, long time on twitter, on the old Current Message board before Al Gore sold the place. Liberal, fan of smart satire. Hopelessly blond sometimes.
