This little 3 lb Teacup Poodle/Chihuahua mix has owned my heart for the last 10 years. His name was Newman- nicknamed Shoobie Doobie.
He slept next to my pillow, where I now keep a small box that holds his ashes.
He was terrible. He was mean, antisocial, and had no problem hiking his leg and peeing in the house. He also loved to hang out in the shop with me, whether building cabinets or restoring an old boat.

@DPotatoesOBrien They are here too briefly, and take a piece of our hearts when they go. But they leave some of theirs with us, and that is the best part of our hearts for ever after.
