Peter Sinks, Utah hit minus-60º! (Granted Peter Sinks is an elevated bowl-shaped depression in the mountains, and dense, cold air sinks south into the center of the bowl.) Still... yikes!

@MyRadar Have actually felt the -60 and there was a bit of a wind blowing, so felt like -72. Brutal walk to work that day. This was in a broad mountain valley in MT, elevation over 5800 feet.
