Random piece for an upcoming art show. I need more non-IP art for the show. So this is some sort of biomechanical woman; shades of the BORG queen; shades of Ghost in the Shell. You can see how loose my pencils tend to bee. This somewhere between and 2 and 3 hours of progress. Wish me luck on the coloring.

This is Nell. She's an artificer who lost her arm while building a mana battery. The character belongs to Holly Gregorio (ArcanePigeon on Mastodon). She kindly let me take a stab at drawing Nell. 2nd image is the reference. Check out Holly's stuff when you get a chance.

It was a nice break; drawing something just for the hell of it. No stakes, no pressure, where I wasn't overly worried about being accurate or exact.

I see people discussing whether or not felons can be president. Tough call, but I can tell you as a naturalized citizen that's was adopted in 1970 at the age of 3, educated in the public school system, with nearly 22 years of distinguished military service, and no criminal record, I could never be president.

It was supremely irritating to be told all the time going up, "you can be anything you want to be," know full well that the rules clearly didn't extend that option to everyone.
