Had to give up on my avatar frame so I modified to this.

Walt Kelly parodying Major General Harrison's "We have met they enemy and they are ours." Kelly's rendition "We have met the enemy and he is us' was made in 1970. I feels kind of prescient now. Never underestimate mankind's ability to create their own problems.

It's been a year already since the Comic Jam Hawaii Talk Story | Draw Story exhibit a the Downtown Arts Center in Honolulu. It was a lot of work and like the proverbial herding of cats but we pulled it.

It was a great experience and I'm glad I got to share it fellow artists friends.

Since then I've been invited to couple other shows. Now I guess I need to figure out how to weasel my way into getting a solo show. Probably not gonna happen, but I'm not dead yet so there's a chance.

This would have been my next convention but the fates have conspired against me. Some unplanned expenses in October sapped the funds we would have needed to make it over to Maui for this. That said, it's a great con and if you can swing it, please go check it out. It has a definite TNMT theme this year with lot of creators that have worked on the franchise over the years. Go support them and the crew that puts on the show. It's free to the public!

This was done in honor of the 30th anniversary of Hawaiian comic book superhero, PineappleMan. I was asked earlier in the year if I'd be willing to submit something. It was an obvious yes. I've been sitting on this since July, not wanting post it until it had been presented to PineappleMan's creator; Sam Campos. Today, we presented Sam with renditions of his character. Here's mine.
