Maybe it's a little late for an #introduction, but here's my philosophy of life (YMMV):

Time is well spent:
(1) learning something
(2) helping others
(3) enjoying yourself
(4) fulfilling an obligation

Making the most of life means combining two or more of these as often as possible.
