Back in August of 2021 I brewed a 1 gallon batch of blackberry wine. I picked all thr blackberries myself from local wild blackberry plants.

Today I finally got around to bottling it. I'll be drinking that less-filled bottle shortly.

I just tried the blackberry wine.

It's actually pretty good. It's sweet and vibrant on the front end, and you definitely taste the blackberry. It has a decent body on it as well, and not too much tannin on the back end.

I don't know the % alcohol by volume (I messed up the measurement when I was making it.) But it does have a slightly boozy taste on the back end. Not as much as say a port, but it's still there.
