I played some 8 ball. It's been a while since I played. I used to have a full-size table. It was fun.
@CJLavoie That's pretty good about your son's running the table. I don't have my table anymore. I gave it away, we were moving and there was no room for my table.
@apetrusk I hope you have a nice place to go to play at. In Tucson we used to go to the student union which was fun. In Colorado Springs the local hall was in a seedy part of town. Once I watched as some guy ran in one door and out the other, and moments later a couple of cops ran in and went out the same way. Gave me the heebie jeebies.
@CJLavoie There's a neighborhood sports bar in Parker, CO that's a pretty decent place to go. They have great daily specials on lunch.🙂 👍
@apetrusk My son has a 9' table and we play occasionally, but recently decided to make a once-a-week thing of it. Last week he ran the table twice in a row! He said it was b/c he was so tired, not sleeping well the night before, so was on autopilot, which helped him get out of his own way with the shots.
He's long outgrown any tips I gave him as a teenager.
