My turtle not eating its regular food. It does eat a small cherry tomato or two, but still not a good sign.
I think it is dying.
You can see some lighter shades on its shell near the back.
That just started recently.

I'm hoping it's temporary. It'll go through periods of not eating, but this has been over a week. It did eat several cherry tomatoes, but not its regular food, which is unusual. I noticed some discoloration on its shell. It just seems like time is coming to an end.

It is sad, but I still hope it's nothing; although, I fear the worst.
I've had it all these years and it will be rough if it dies.

I'll give it a few more days. It's strength is still there and it moves around and is alert. It is eating the cherry tomatoes.

A turtle is one of the creatures I've never kept as a pet.... interesting that it has lived so long.
