Normally I’d be freaking out but since I’m not the one in charge it’s a little easier to manage. My main frustration is I still have this large dollar claim review and I don’t know wtf I’m supposed to do with it. But I got some things out of the way today so I can meddle with it tomorrow.

We don’t expect my boss to return to work. Found out she has stage 4 lung cancer metastasized to brain 😢 not great prognosis. Radiation started.
Coworker and I had a call today & devised a plan to divide the work between us and keep each other in the loop of what needs to be prioritized.

My boss who was out the week before my vacation was diagnosed with lung cancer and is now on leave. I had a suspicion.
Time to flex my ability to adapt and work independently.

A high school classmate passed away Friday after a decade-long battle with cancer.
She was part of my friend group in middle & high school. Hadn’t spoken with her since graduation but kept tabs on what was going on.
She leaves behind a husband and two teenage boys 😞
Planning to go to visitation on Wednesday.

It smells like someone in the area is cooking a big beef roast & it smell divine.

A colleague I used to work with owns her own mental health clinic & has partnered with a non-prof treatment center in the area. They use a 3rd party billing company for their billing. I've chatted with the CEO a few times because they are growing & want to bring billing in-house. They have reached out to me to "talk" about how to do this. I'm already FT employed in a position I started 3 months ago that I really enjoy with very good benefits.

What's a reasonable $ amount for consultant Svcs?

I’m so glad to be home. 66° and mostly cloudy. It’s pleasant as F to sit out on the balcony right now. I know winters are harsh in Fargo but this is home.

The sausage & stout pizza at Pizza Rock in Vegas. It was SO good. They only make 23 per day.

Coming back from vacation with a cold or Covid was one of my mild concerns. But so far so good.

Sister invited us out to their house to sit in the river on this hot muggy day. But it’s a 1-1/2 hour drive one way with road construction on the way and we’re both travel-worn & tired. It sounds fun but we would probably be crabby so we declined.

It’s lovely to look down on your home city as you fly over before landing 😍 So grateful to be home 🥰

One more flight DFW-FAR and then we’re home ❤️

At LAS for our flight home. Looking forward to cooking at home, green grass, and temps below 90°

Happy Birthday @Minholkin! You're a blessing to the Community!

It would take a long time to adjust to the weather here. Holy heck it’s hot. It’s 30° cooler back home.

Oh heck I knew this would happen. Forgot to take my meds this morning.

Hmm. Kicked out of the pool area because of a private party 🙄 time for a shower.

Morning helicopter grand canyon tour was great. We both really enjoyed it.

Made the mistake of laying down after getting back to our room from lunch. Too comfy, don’t wanna leave.
