3 days left at work. 2 months til vacation redo.

Had a weird call with my supervisor at work today. Seems they’re struggling to hire for the position and seemingly grasping at straws. Planning for cake on Thursday.

I’ve had a peaceful weekend. This is nice.

Sunday dinner: slow cooker beef short ribs.
If we had a smoker or charcoal grill I’d cook them on that but, alas, apartment living means propane only and our tank isn’t full enough to grill for 1-1/2 hours.

Found out today one of my friends at work that works on the treatment floor put in his notice and his last day is June 30th. I’m glad. He was getting assaulted by patients all too often.

I see private health information all day long but I don’t share it with unauthorized people because I have integrity.

HR is messing up their hiring process to fill my role. They told one candidate “you need an RHIT”. Candidate has an RHIA which is one step above and, in my opinion, better. It’s a leadership role. My guess is they don’t want to pay what a RHIA should be paid……

I noticed today a coworker had put up some rainbow bunting at her desk and was wearing a LGBTQA+ support pin. I smiled. It goes well with her Slitherin lanyard and the rest of her attitude.
