Dinner menu tonight: pan seared chicken breast in a Gorgonzola cream sauce with linguini (zoodles for me) and Caesar salad.

The last time I bought myself flowers I was promoted shortly thereafter so channeling some of that same energy now.

Bought myself flowers because why not.

Great time with siblings. Ironically one of our aunts & uncles was there for dinner and a few other ppl some of us knew. Enjoyed the drive with oldest sister to chat about work woes & life.
I had the “Trust Me” which was pork tenderloin & black cod. Also pictured is two other dishes that looked amazing. Of course phone ate first 😄

A day in the office but later I’m having dinner with most of my siblings. Spouse was unable to get out of work to in us.

While explaining this I realized I’ve seen and read a lot of crazy shit in my 10-1/2 years at this job. It used to be exciting and interesting; now it’s just sad and doesn’t affect me like it used to. Numb.

Today I had to explain to coworkers that yes, OTC meds like mucinex and prescription prednisone can cause mania in people.

A good night of sleep does wonders.

Can’t sleep. Might as well fill out some job applications.

North Dakota is turning into even more if a hellhole of a state.

Every time I get an email I fear it’s another job rejection notification.

I assembled 27 charts today. My hands ache on top of feeling tired after not sleeping well last night.

Spouse likes pickled garlic.
Spouse had pickled garlic Thursday evening.
On Friday morning I told spouse he needs to limit his pickled garlic intake cuz his breath is wicked.

Plans for the day: go into the office for a few hours, grocery shopping, then skillet baked pasta for dinner..
