Oh boy! 200+ pounds of beef procured. I did the math and it came out to roughly $3.85/lb for a variety of ground beef, steaks, soup bones, short ribs, and roasts.
How do you go about sitting your extremely stubborn father down to tell him it’s time to go to an assisted living or nursing home?
He can barely walk, incontinent, falls a lot, it’s a stress and burden for mom because she has health issues, too. 😞
Picking up our next 1/4 of beef tomorrow! Good timing too because her prices just went up for the next round.

Spouse told me last night that he learned from the debate that DeSantis was in the marines. He got mad when I laughed and said that’s not true.

A middle/high school friend passed away Friday after a 12-year battle with cancer. Going to the visitation this evening the having dinner with bff. She was in our friend group in middle school & early high school.
40 is much too young. She leaves behind a husband and two boys aged 16 & 14.
Nevermind. I was told it would be a conflict of interest with current job. Upon telling colleague that she said “well it wouldn’t be consulting; we’re looking for a controller to take on the task. We’re not in a huge hurry.”
I’m not interested in that right now. It also seems like they’re not ready to tackle to project & want someone to do it for them.
