1) So he can say whatever he wants about classified information because he truly doesn’t have the info.
2) To protect his wife from revelations about her father’s role in the Venezuelan bank crisis
Since he would need a clearance to govern as PM if elected, I suspect it’s to play dumb. 🤷♀️
