NOT gonna miss Jerry Springer; he knew exactly what he was doing and was a truly toxic person. I'm not going to say we're better off without him, but I will say we're better off without those kinds of antics.
Now, if we could just get the RepubliKKKlowns to stop emulating him, we might be on to something.

On my first day in the classroom in February of 1998, a student approached me and informed me that the students in this class, I was taking over, watched Jerry every day at 1PM in the darkroom. The TV was removed from the classroom that afternoon. Those first kids didn't like me much. They got over it. When I learned that he passed, that long ago moment played in my head. Reality TV has been the ultimate in dumbing down our nation.
