Went for a long walk at dawn in my neighborhood -- specifically, up and around the peninsula, leeward to windward. It's raining today and the leeward side is, you know, damp and lightly breezy. Round the corner by the lighthouse and the windward side is rough surf, flotsam everywhere, 25mph winds, and rain hitting your face like hail.

Even the weather had a story to tell about the week ahead.
