And that foolishness up top re "saying hello" (about half a step away from "you should smile more," but nevermind that now) -- the fact that he was clearly disconcerted by that tells us that too many journalists have been too deferential for too long. (It also tells me that whoever preps him for interviews and debates is probably just a crew sock with googly eyes pasted on.)
@agunn Yup. But if I'm being honest, I am watching Hal Sparks' commentary. It helps his responses not make me ill...
