So, the bird found this account in violation. It's the most vile I've seen there. Is it gone? No. Still there. They helpfully tell me that it has 370 tweets today. So WTF does in violation mean to them?

Mueller has just asked that the bail conditions for Paul Manafort be revoked. Manafort has been in contact with someone with ties to Russian intel while he was out on bail.

These fucking people.

Twitter today is like the collecting tank of a neglected portapotty.

For decades Democrats have fallen in love with the idea that the Presidency was the answer to everything. While we slept the GOP ran for School Board, City Council, Assembly, etc.
If you are angry at what's happening, run for one of those positions or support a candidate.
It's starts there.

They finally feel free to say how they have always truly felt.

"โ€œI think not having the estate tax recognizes the people that are investing,โ€ Grassley said, โ€œas opposed to those that are just spending every darn penny they have, whether itโ€™s on booze or women or movies.โ€ "

@ZonaPellucida HRC got pilloried for her "basket of deplorables" comment, but I think she mostly had it right.

One thing that bothers me most is idea that there are wonderful people who are just misled enough to still be supporting Trump and what he stands for, and that it's our fault for disparaging them. Take Alabama as example. Maybe it's possible a "good person" is convinced child molestation charges against Moore are false. But that AND hatred of Muslims AND all immigrants AND support for white supremacists, neonazis and antisemites? I reject entirely the idea those can still be "good people."

Beau Willimon:

"Don't fall into despair over the . Let it motivate you. We fought the bans. We fought for the ACA. We fought to win big victories in the VA & NJ elections. We must keep fighting: in Alabama, the 2018 midterms & beyond.
Stay strong. โœŠ"

@ZonaPellucida If Trump knew that Flynn had committed a crime (lying to a federal agent) and he tried to stop the investigation, he's arguably obstructed justice. He's effectively admitted to that here. (I don't do criminal law anymore, but this is fairly straightforward)

@ZonaPellucida You're absolutely right - it would all come down to his knowledge and state of mind. I don't know that one tweet is sufficient to convict (or impeach) and he could argue that it was just inartfully worded and that he didn't mean that. But, if you read it literally, he does seem to admit knowing about the criminal offense at the time of firing Flynn, which is a big deal if he tried to make the investigation go away later on.

Hey, all
There is all sorts of noise about how Trump's stupid tweet is an admission of obstruction. As much as I'd love to believe that, does anyone know whether this is actually anything other than his usual hot air? Any lawyers here?

It never fails. Trump is presented with an obstacle (in this case, Flynn's alleged plea bargain), and I rack my brain to think of the top two ways he might react, both of which will only make his situation worse.

Then he manages to go and pick a third even dumber option. ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿฟ

Number 2 in a short series - with a nod towards @StevenH too :)

Mr Brain's Faggots.

Meatballs in gravy, basically. Very tasty and warming on a cold winter's day.

Great humour value too.

I'm new on here. Can't wait to become famous after everyone reToots the shit out of my
