Hey, friends:

If you're considering your options after ditching / , or you just like flexible systems, I strongly suggest you check out .

It's potentially high crunch, but it's meant as a system that can be used to make ANY kind of you can imagine. And once you make a character, the hardest part's over.

If it seems overwhelming at 1st, & you like the D&D setting, there's a very simple Dungeon Fantasy version of GURPS.

@FernLovebond Had alot of fun with gurps as a player but not as a DM, discalcylia won in the end xD Still have the books and all ( somewhere I hope, i think someone stole them sadly ). Easier system thats as applicable to new worlds etc is in my mind Ars magica, love it ^^

@Zolah
Oof, yeah, I can't imagine how hard dyslexia must make some thing. Sympathy!

I've heard good things of Ars Magica, but never tried it. I do wonder: did you use the base GURPS (toolbox) set, or the GURPS Dungeon Fantasy sub-product?

@FernLovebond Discalcylia - number blindness ^^ So systems with alot of numbers tend to fudge me over. Hero System was probably the worst X_x

Base with addon books, If I had a GM that taught me the base and played it often I would probably have a slight better chance at handling it.
