@Zolah

Glad to help. If there's one thing I feel like most ppl in this community get, it's consideration. Not all CoSoNauts will do it, but many of us try to consider the diversity of our audience.

Cheers πŸ™‚

There was a TikTok creator, Emily, with the handle @mini_robomuppets who made dozens of videos of her own journey to face her arachnophobia. Through the process of getting to know a single jumping spider, which she named Gretel, she eventually overcame her fears & fell in love with spiders.

She has made so many adorable jumping spider videos, and hundreds of comments claim she helped them overcome their phobia. You can see her channel at tiktok.com/@mini_robomuppets

@FernLovebond I'll look at them when I feel a bit better, when I have bad bouts of insomnia it's better for me to not look at possible triggering things since it can become nightmares. But I'm interested in checking them out for real !

@Zolah
Of course, as you feel comfortable, not intending to push. Just hoped to offer something approachable *IF* you wanted to. No pressure πŸ™‚

(Aside: sorry about your dad. πŸ«‚)

@FernLovebond thank you for thinking about me ^^ I don't feel like it's something I want to do atm. I got my phobia back when my father got a brain tumor, before that I knew everything about insects. So my phobia isn't set in anything logical and is probably just a weird side effect from my father's illness. Worst offender really is butterflies and moths, today I'm at least comfortable to view them on photos or in a distance. Bad days I just try to minimise exposure to pictures and alike :)
