I was raised in a Catholic family. One of my earliest memories is praying to God before bed that I would wake up the next day as a girl.
I no longer am part of that faith, but some days I still wish my prayer would come true.
After years of trying to bottle it up and make it go away (it would make life so much easier), I’m at a point in my life where I know what I want, and I’m trying to get there. Soon I’m moving closer to my gay sister where maybe I can find the answers :)

@Ellieisnotokay Good luck on your journey, I am not trans but my beloved is. She only changed to a better self throu it all, since for once she feels like who she was supposed to be. And a good start for her was to ease into it among close ones, then online, and lastly everywhere. Might sound easy but there will be hurdles, so arm yourself with good people around you and determination! Many sadly believe it's ok to tell you that you're wrong, and in a to comfortably manner. GL!

@Zolah thanks so much for sharing her story! its always helpful to hear about how some people actually do the steps of their transition, i appreciate it :)

@Ellieisnotokay you're welcome :) and just to slip it into the convo. I never share things I havnt talked to her about, since its her journey not mine. I'm just happily tagging along cause for me it's the insides that's important rather than how a person represents themselves ^^
